Hey there!

My name is Hannah Psalma Ramirez and I am an early career journalist and an incoming local government, elections and public records reporter for Uvalde Leader-News and Report for America.

I started my career as a student journalist peeling back the layers of San Diego’s comic book and arts scene and then shifting to local government and community oriented stories. Since then, my reporting has taken me across the El Paso–Ciudad Juárez border and into the halls and backrooms of Capitol Hill.

While my career has already taken me down different paths, producing journalism that is human-centered, accessible and impactful is always my goal. Stay tuned for more!
